Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how krakowgolfcarttours.com ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit this site. We are an independent affiliate guide; we do not sell tours directly and do not process booking payments.
1. Who we are
krakowgolfcarttours.com is a single-page informational guide to Krakow's licensed Park Kulturowy electric Melex tours. We earn commissions when visitors book tours through our outbound affiliate links to GetYourGuide.
2. What we collect
2.1 Standard server logs
Our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically records standard request data for every page view, including:
- Your IP address (truncated where required by law)
- The page URL you visited
- Your browser user-agent string and language preference
- The referring URL (if any)
- The timestamp of the request
These logs are retained for security, abuse-prevention, and aggregate-analytics purposes for up to 30 days, then automatically deleted.
2.2 Third-party booking-widget cookies (GetYourGuide)
This site embeds availability widgets from GetYourGuide (operated by GetYourGuide AG, Stresemannstrasse 29, 10963 Berlin, Germany). When a widget loads or you click an affiliate link to GetYourGuide, your browser communicates directly with GetYourGuide servers and may set first-party cookies on the getyourguide.com domain for booking attribution and session continuity. We do not control or have access to these cookies.
GetYourGuide's privacy notice is available at https://www.getyourguide.com/privacy_policy. The GetYourGuide widget loader is provided by their partner script at widget.getyourguide.com.
2.3 What we do NOT collect
- We do NOT run Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party advertising trackers
- We do NOT set any first-party tracking cookies of our own
- We do NOT collect names, email addresses, payment information, or any account-creation data — there are no forms on this site
- We do NOT sell, rent, or share visitor data with third parties
3. How we use information
Server-log data is used solely for security monitoring, debugging, and aggregate traffic measurement (e.g., counting visits per page). We do not build user profiles, advertising audiences, or behavioural segments.
4. Your rights — GDPR (EEA / UK)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR including:
- The right to access information held about you
- The right to rectification of inaccurate information
- The right to erasure of your personal data
- The right to object to or restrict processing
- The right to data portability
- The right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority
Because we keep only short-term server logs and do not collect identifying data, most requests will simply confirm that we hold no further data about you.
5. Your rights — CCPA / CPRA (California)
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information.
6. Children's privacy
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected by updating that date.
8. Contact
Privacy enquiries and rights requests: please use the contact email on the affiliate-disclosure page (or write to the address listed there with the subject line "Privacy enquiry").
